Denver Bike Trails

Cycling season is officially underway.  Last weekend I discovered a part of Denver that I never knew existed – the intricate system of bike pathways.  I completed a 44 mile loop leaving from REI in Denver, traversing down the Platte trail to Littleton, crossing through Greenwood village, skimming the north part of the Cherry Creek Reservoir, and then shooting back up on the Cherry Creek trail.  

After completing that one, I went to the Denver Bike office in downtown Denver to purchase a map of all the pathways.  On my bucket list for the summer includes rides to Red Rocks with return, the entire Highline trail, Chatfield Reservoir with return, Boulder (taking the bus back), and finally to Garden of the Gods in the Springs.
